Echo base were an 80's soul/reggae band and are reknowned for two things
1: being on UB40s Dep International record label
and
2: Featuring on drums Oscar Harrison from later band Ocean Colour Scene.

Thanks for this. I saw Echo Base supporting UB40 and in their own show with Benjamin Zephaniah. A forthcoming trip to Jamaica has had me going back to old reggae stuff. I never thought I'd get hold of this.

i knew this band very well cutting the demo in gas street at sine wave studios, bloody hell this takes me back to a band that could have made it big if the final mixing and production was left close to the demo material
