The Rhythmites - Integration (1989 Bluurg records)

Heres one of my favourite reggae albums of all time, if not THE favourite, it was originally on anarcho punk label Bluurg records, helmed by subhumns, culture shock, citizen fish singer Dick lucas, i wrote to him a couple of years ago asking if this lp was still available to buy and was shocked to find that it isnt, was deleted.
The Rhythmites were a free festival band that started off doing punk/reggae and later turned into a fully fledged reggae band and released this gem of an album in 1989.
anyway enjoy one of the greatest reggae albums of all time.

A big shout to MelTheBell from the Land of Oz. Been looking for this for quite a while - like 15 years. I found it on a torrent site a year ago, downloaded it and it was a bunch of "Rhythmites" porn - effed my puter! Anyway, I risked it again by downloading it from your site coz anybody can tell your doing your thing well nice. Integration - the best uk produced reggae album. Thanks man. Al.

truly the best reggae album i ever heard, they played a gig in wigan years ago and stayed over at a mates house that night, was a party and a half, i remember angus hitting the local corner shop in wigan at an ungodly hour asking for coconuts lmao

There's more Rhythmites stuff in the torrent I put in a mininova a while back - Rootsy, The Travellers's Aid trust tunes including a very very rare B-side.

enjoy, and if anyone has any live stuff... WANT WANT WANT.

OMFG - thanks for posting this.

Used to watch Rhythmites supporting Culture Shock back in the day....

Witnessed the most appalling thing ever at a Rhythmites gig at Worcester racecourse - local toerag half inched one of their saxes off the stage while they were playing their set!how low can you get? worcester basically...

Kendo any chance you could rip it and throw it on someplace like rapidshare, megaupload? and throw the link up in here?, or maybe in my shoutbox?

Great LP. I first heard them on the Travellers Aid Trust LP. I've not heard the Stonehenge EP though (which has another track of theirs and also one by another favourite band of mine, Culture Shock). Maybe one day :-)

Any chance of the Rhythmites 'Integration' being re-upped.

Hey man I bought the LAST ONE direct from Bluurg Records when I lived in Bradford in the nineties. It was a glorious album, when I ordered it, it came with a note telling me it was the last copy. I wish I still had it! Can find a copy anywhere now. Any luck anyone?

This is a long shot I know, but, could someone reup this?

Kendo, could you upload your EP?
It seems it has never been online before.

And, The Rhythmites released a new album in 2010 called Stand Strong.
Their website hasn't bee updated since 2012 though.
